Together with Jess Auerbach Jahajeeah, Esther Salvi, Georg von Richthofen, and Lehlohonolo Kekana, Prof. Dr. Ali Aslan Gümüsay has published a chapter in the open access volume Decolonizing Management and Organization Studies.
The authors argue that societal grand challenges are global, yet management scholarship remains dominated by the minority world. Tackling such challenges requires changing – and decolonizing – our scholarship.
In their chapter, they outline four approaches to building inclusive research partnerships across the minority and majority world: moving from ignorance to awareness, integration, and ultimately elevation. Three practical cases illustrate this trajectory
